Christine Helliwell, PhD, is an Innovation Specialist at Scottish Health Innovations Ltd., where she is responsible for facilitating the commercialisation of intellectual property arising from NHS Scotland.
Prior to joining Scottish Health Innovations Ltd, Christine spent several years working as an Analyst for the pharmaceutical industry research and consultancy firm Decision Resources, before which she spent a year as an Assistant Editor for the scientific journal Genome Biology.
Christine’s PhD was gained at the University of Edinburgh, where she investigated the epigenetic mechanisms affecting murine embryonic stem cell differentiation. She also holds a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
